6 Drills to Improve Volleyball Defence

4. Serve Receive Drills

  • Target Passing: Players line up to receive serves and aim to pass the ball to a specific target, usually a setter's position. This drill refines accuracy in serve receive.

5. Defensive Positioning Drills

  • Quick Reflex: Players lie on their stomachs. On a whistle, they quickly get up and prepare to receive a ball. This drill boosts quick reflexes from a static position.
